The 7th series of this year's Peony of the Month, "Do Tell," a botanical art print of a peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Do Tell'), is now available in two print options.   

Our prints are sold unframed and shipped in tubes. Please get in touch with us if you would like to purchase matching frames.   

Product Description  

This fine art print is produced on archival paper using the giclée printing technique. Giclée prints are made with a very high resolution; thanks to it, they are a perfect reproduction of the original art.   

All our giclee prints are produced carefully by our long-trusted partner, On The Edge Framing & Art, who is an approved participant in the Fine Art Trade Guild's digital print assurance scheme – The ArtSureScheme.   

We inspect every print, limited and open edition, to ensure that the details of the original painting are flawlessly preserved in the highest quality.

There are only 35 prints for sale available for every peony of the series. It's an exciting proposition for collectors and enthusiasts of botanical art.

Original painting 

The original painting was created using high-quality mineral pigments on watercolour paper. Multiple layers of colour were slowly and meticulously put on paper to achieve the desired tint. The Peony Girl silk scarves are beautiful and versatile. They can be worn around your neck, hair, or as an accessory for your bag - it's up to you. With two sizes to choose from, there are many ways to wear them!

This gorgeous 'Silver Stream' silk scarf is now available for order!

The silk was printed with a pattern of one of Siyuan Ren's paintings - "Peony Portrait: Yellow". The painting's peony was created using the Chinese gongbi technique.  Click here to read more about it.

The colour of the scarf - PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray - was announced as Pantone's colour of the year, making it an interesting proposition for artists who want to make a statement. 

Composition: 100% silk, weight: 12-momme for small and 16-momme for large. 
A momme is a unit of measurement used only for silk fabrics weight. 

The large scarf was made using 16-momme silk - the highest recommended weight for a scarf. We chose it to create an excellent and durable scarf that is still soft, smooth and very light at the same time. Wrap yourself in its truly luxurious and velvety softness!

The small scarf was made using 12-momme silk - an optimal weight for this size, making the scarf light and versatile. The fabric is both high-quality and soft, which allows you to experiment with different ways of folding, tying and wearing it!
